Browne Wildlife Sanctuary is 10 acres with 0.7 miles of trails. One of the more remote properties owned by the New Canaan Land Trust, visitors will enjoy the quiet woodlands and scenic views of the Grupes Reservoir. Interpretive signs along the trails of the Browne Wildlife Sanctuary educate visitors about the ecology, geology, and historic land-use of the site.
Visitors can park on a pull-off on Colonial Lane, where the road intersects with Valley Road. The trail begins on the other side of Valley Road, through an entrance in the stone wall.
